When I came to Nora by accident a few weeks ago and I saw the old trainstation I told myself to go back there when I had some more time and so I did. I went there last week and was lucky because they were busy making some old locomotives ready for the upcoming season. The museum railway has a network of 25 kilometer of normal gauge track and is in use for 2 months a year, during the summer season. This is one of the most genuine old railway environments in Sweden. The station building at Järle is the oldest one in the country so I have to pay that a visit next time. I also made some photos in monochrome and you can find them here.
Now take a look at the monochrome images here.
